After stepping into a Turkish barber shop for the first time while living in Scotland, he could envision himself a barber. Pairing his lifelong interest in antiques and design with a recent interest in barbering led him to open Sailor & Sipper—a space for great hair, community building and personal connection. Mitchell is the third generation in his family to work with hair—his grandmother & great grandmother owned a salon in Smyrna.
